  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or natural sweetener

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: baking soda, fresh lemon or lime, and water.
  2. In a glass, combine 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 8 ounces of water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Squeeze half a lemon or lime into the mixture.
  4. If desired, add a teaspoon of honey or your preferred natural sweetener.
  5. Stir all ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy.
  7. If you made extra, store in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
