A simple and effective gelatin treat designed to support weight loss post-bariatric surgery, combining low calories with satisfying flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet sugar-free gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen fruit (e.g., berries, diced peaches)
  • Optional flavorings (e.g., vanilla extract, almond extract)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: 1 cup of boiling water, 1 cup of cold water, and 1 packet of sugar-free gelatin.
  2. In a bowl, pour the boiling water over the gelatin and stir for 2-3 minutes until fully dissolved.
  3. Mix in the cold water gently.
  4. Fold in the fresh or frozen fruit, combining without breaking the pieces too much.
  5. Pour the mixture into molds or a shallow dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  6. Once set, cut into cubes or unmold and serve chilled.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5-7 days. Ideal as a refreshing snack between meals to help curb hunger.
