  • 2 green tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (from 1 fresh lemon)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger (grated)
  • Honey (optional, to taste)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew the Green Tea: Boil 2 cups of water, add 2 green tea bags, and steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Lemon Juice: Squeeze the juice from one lemon into a measuring cup until you have around 2 tablespoons.
  3. Add Ginger: Grate 1 inch of fresh ginger and add to the steeped tea.
  4. Combine Everything: Remove tea bags, mix in lemon juice and ginger thoroughly.
  5. Sweeten (if desired): Stir in honey or your preferred sweetener.
  6. Cool Down: Let the drink cool to room temperature and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Serve Over Ice: Pour the chilled drink over ice cubes in a glass and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, drink 20-30 minutes before meals. Adjust sweetener as desired.
