Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

A delightful combination of creamy ranch potatoes and smoky sausage that promises to be a comforting and satisfying meal for family and friends.

  • 4 medium russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, chopped
  • 1 pound smoked sausage (kielbasa or Polish sausage), sliced
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (your favorite type)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil and half of the ranch seasoning mix.
  3. Combine the seasoned potatoes with the sliced smoked sausage in a large baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining ranch seasoning over the top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway for even cooking.
  5. Add shredded cheese over the top and return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes or until melted and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool slightly, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve.
