  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 12 tbsp milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix in the milk, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  5. In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon, then spread the filling over the dough and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  6. Roll the dough into a log and slice into 1-inch rolls, placing them in a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until puffed and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Prepare frosting by whisking powdered sugar, cream cheese, and milk until smooth, then drizzle over warm rolls.
