Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites

Delightful bite-sized morsels combining the flavors of cinnamon rolls and classic French toast, topped with sweet icing.

  • 1 loaf of bread (any type)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Icing or glaze (optional; mix of powdered sugar and milk)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. Cut the bread into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Fold the bread cubes into the egg mixture and let sit for 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the coated bread cubes on the baking sheet and drizzle with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle with icing if desired.
  8. Serve warm with preferred toppings.
