Delicious Pancake Sausage Casserole

A comforting casserole that combines fluffy pancakes with savory sausage, perfect for breakfast gatherings.

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the pancake mix, milk, eggs, and maple syrup until smooth.
  4. Fold the cooked sausage into the pancake batter until evenly incorporated.
  5. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter and pour the mixture into the dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool for a few minutes, then cut into squares and serve warm with additional maple syrup or powdered sugar.
