Ginger Water for Weight Loss

  • 12 inches Fresh Ginger Root, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups Water
  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • Optional: Honey to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Fresh Ginger: Peel and slice a 1-2 inch piece of fresh ginger root.
  2. Boil Water: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  3. Add Ginger: Reduce heat to low and add the sliced ginger, simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Strain and Serve: Strain the ginger water into a cup or pitcher.
  5. Cool and Store: Allow to cool before refrigerating. Serve warm or chilled.
  6. Garnish and Enjoy: Optionally garnish with mint leaves or lemon slice.
