Delightful Gingerbread Truffles

Rich and indulgent Gingerbread Truffles enveloped in a creamy chocolate shell, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 2 cups Gingerbread cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips, semi-sweet or dark
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Place the gingerbread cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed gingerbread with softened cream cheese and powdered sugar; mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Stir in ground cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg until evenly distributed.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  5. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls; place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring in between.
  7. Dip each truffle into melted chocolate and return to baking sheet; chill until the chocolate is set, about 15-20 minutes.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Experiment with flavors by adding nuts or citrus zest.
