Instructions

  1. Gather your gelatin, sweetener, lemon juice, and warm water.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, pour 1 cup of water and bring it to a simmer.
  3. Remove the pan from heat and whisk in 2 tablespoons of gelatin until dissolved (1-2 minutes).
  4. Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey and juice from half a lemon until well combined.
  5. Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes.
  6. Pour the tonic into a cup and garnish with a lemon slice if desired.
  7. Sip slowly and enjoy the comforting warmth.
