Indulgent Burnt Basque Cheesecake in a Loaf Pan

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese (24 oz)
  • Granulated sugar (¾ cup)
  • Heavy cream (1 cup)
  • Eggs (3 large)
  • All-purpose flour (â…“ cup)
  • Vanilla extract (1 tsp)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line your loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and granulated sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Gradually add the heavy cream while mixing at low speed, then increase to medium speed and mix for another minute.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then gently fold in the flour until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and the edges are set.
  6. Let the cheesecake cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Slice using a hot knife and serve at room temperature.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream.
