Indulgent Slutty Brownies: A Decadent Delight

A decadent dessert combining layers of cookie dough, rich brownie batter, and gooey chocolate chips for a truly indulgent treat.

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients.
  5. Spread half of the brownie batter across the bottom of the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the brownie layer, then pour the remaining brownie batter on top.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips generously over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Let them cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper.

Notes

Consider serving warm with vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence. These brownies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
