Jello Cake

A vibrant dessert featuring layers of moist cake topped with a wobbly jello layer, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Cake Mix (low-fat or gluten-free)
  • Jello (any flavor, sugar-free optional)
  • Water
  • Cool Whip or Whipped Cream (low-fat optional)
  • Fresh Fruits (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake your cake according to package instructions in a 9×13 inch pan. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. Dissolve the jello in boiling water as per package instructions. Pour it over the cooled cake using a fork to gently poke holes for absorption.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until the jello is set.
  4. Spread a layer of Cool Whip over the top once the jello has set.
  5. Add fresh fruits or sprinkles for decoration.
  6. Cut into squares, serve chilled, and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, use sugar-free jello and low-fat cake mix.
