  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup hot water or heated juice
  • 1/2 cup fruit juice or sugar-free drink mix
  • Optional: collagen powder
  • Optional: fresh fruit pieces
  • Sweetener to taste (honey, stevia, or syrup)

Instructions

  1. Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over cold water and letting it sit for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the liquid until warm but not boiling, then pour it over the bloomed gelatin and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add cold juice or water to cool the mix and incorporate sweetener as needed.
  4. Combine fruit pieces with the gelatin mixture if desired, and let it sit until slightly warm.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or up to 4 hours for a firmer set.
  6. Serve by spooning into bowls or slicing from molds.
