Macaroni and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole

A delightful blend of macaroni and cheese with hearty meatloaf, offering a comforting and nostalgic family meal.

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil salted water and cook the macaroni until al dente (about 8–10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cream cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in cooked macaroni and 2 cups of cheddar cheese until evenly mixed.
  5. Lightly grease a baking dish. Layer half of the macaroni and meat mixture, top with half of the remaining cheddar cheese, then repeat with the rest of the mixture and finish with cheese and breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and browned.
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize by adding vegetables or using different cheeses.
