One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

A comforting one pot pasta dish featuring creamy garlic sauce and Parmesan cheese, perfect for family dinners.

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add minced garlic to the pot and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
  3. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and add the spaghetti. Bring to a boil and allow it to cook for about 9-11 minutes until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream.
  5. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese while stirring continuously.
  6. Taste the dish and add salt and pepper as desired.
  7. Remove from heat, and if desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, you can use lower-fat milk instead of heavy cream.
