  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well-combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Drop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
