Warm Gelatin Drink and Gelatin Cubes

A soothing warm gelatin drink and gelatin cubes that may aid in weight loss and promote satiety.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup water or herbal tea
  • Sweetener (optional; honey, agave syrup, or stevia)
  • Flavorings (optional; fruits or herbs like lemon, ginger, or mint)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients (gelatin, water or herbal tea, and any desired flavorings).
  2. In a pot, heat 1 cup of water or herbal tea until just boiling (2-3 minutes).
  3. Remove pot from heat and slowly sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin, stirring to dissolve completely (about 1 minute).
  4. If using, add sweeteners or flavorings and stir well to combine.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool to a palatable temperature (about 5 minutes) before pouring into a mug or mold.
  6. If making gelatin cubes, pour into a mold and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours until fully set.
  7. Sip the warm gelatin drink directly, or remove gelatin cubes, enjoying them both cold or at room temperature.
