Warm Lemon Ginger Manuka Honey Tea

A soothing drink with a zesty kick from ginger, refreshing lemon, and sweet Manuka honey, perfect for wellness and weight loss.

  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, sliced
  • Juice of half a lemon (or more to taste)
  • 12 tablespoons Manuka honey (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Gather fresh ginger, lemon, Manuka honey, and water.
  2. Boil water: In a kettle, boil 2 cups of water until it reaches a rolling boil.
  3. Slice the ginger: Take the thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger and slice it thinly.
  4. Combine ingredients: Add sliced ginger to the boiling water and steep for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add lemon juice: Remove from heat and stir in the juice of half a lemon.
  6. Sweeten with honey: Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of Manuka honey until dissolved.
  7. Strain and serve: Pour into a mug, straining out the ginger slices, and enjoy warm.
