  • 1 cup water or juice
  • Natural sweeteners (e.g., honey or maple syrup) to taste

  • Citrus zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Bloom the gelatin: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of cold water or juice with 2 tablespoons of gelatin. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it thickens.
  3. Heat the mixture: Gently heat the bloomed gelatin over low heat, stirring continuously until completely dissolved (2-3 minutes).
  4. Add sweeteners and flavorings: Remove from heat and stir in natural sweeteners and flavorings, mixing well.
  5. Pour into mold: Lightly grease a jelly mold or container and pour in the mixture. Add optional citrus zest.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Once chilled, gently pop out of the mold and slice into pieces.
