Dr. Oz Pink Gelatin Recipe for Weight Loss

A refreshing, low-calorie gelatin snack that helps curb cravings and adds protein to your diet.

  • 1 packet flavored pink gelatin mix (fruit flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin or powdered collagen
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup cold water or chilled brewed herbal tea
  • Fresh lemon or lime juice (optional)
  • Sugar-free sweetener or a small amount of honey (optional)
  • Fresh berries or sliced fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 cup of water to near boiling, pour into a heatproof bowl. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin or collagen over the hot water and stir until fully dissolved.
  2. In a separate cup, dissolve one packet of flavored pink gelatin mix in 1/2 cup of hot water or add 1/2 cup of cold brewed fruit tea.
  3. Combine the dissolved unflavored gelatin with the flavored mixture slowly, stirring to blend.
  4. Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups of cold water or ice cubes and stir briefly before pouring into molds.
  5. Refrigerate uncovered for 30 minutes, then cover and chill for an additional 1.5 to 2 hours until set.
  6. Serve chilled, garnished with berries or a twist of citrus if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
