Homemade Gelatin

  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup 100% fruit juice
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • Sweetener (optional, to taste)
  • Fresh fruit pieces (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and tools (mixing bowl, measuring cups, molds).
  2. Dissolve the gelatin: In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of cold water with 2 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin powder and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine juice and water: In a saucepan, mix 1 cup of fruit juice with 1/2 cup of hot water. Cool slightly.
  4. Mix together: Add bloomed gelatin to the juice mixture and stir well until dissolved.
  5. Sweeten (optional): Add sweetener to taste and mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour into molds: Carefully pour the mixture into molds or a container, adding fruit pieces if desired.
  7. Refrigerate: Place molds in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until set. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve chilled for a refreshing dessert. Adjust sweetness according to preference.
